I believe that we need to stop animal captivity in means of places like seaworld and certain aquariums and zoos. Now I grew up going to the zoo and even went to Sea World once or twice and it's fun going once or twice but could you imagine living there your whole life never able to leave.
It's all fun and games when your a person but imagine being the animal. Imagine being a sixteen thousand pound Orca whale used to swimming one hundred miles a day then one day you are with your parents and boats are throwing bombs in the water and capturing Orcas.
Imagine having an idealistic life and swimming one hundred miles a day to swimming barely one because you can barely move. I understand that you cannot just magically snap your fingers and have captivity for animals disappear but people need to try harder and we need to get the word out.
Take Lolita for example she is 21 feet (6.4m) long and 7,000 pounds her tank is supposed to be 48 feet but barely is that. The tank isn't as deep as she is long. Keep in mind that these animals have extreme intelligence and have parts of the brain that humans don't that regard feelings. Some might even say that Orcas are smarter than people.
Places like seaworld are especially bad because people think that they are good and educate children but they are false and lie directly to their customers faces giving false information to make themselves look good.
They say that Orcas last longer in captivity because of medicine but the facts are that Orcas only live half their lifespan in captivity. Orcas usually life as long as people do till 80 to 100 but in captivity they die around 40 or 50. Some of them even commit suicide by ramming their heads into the pool.
If you think about it people taking Orcas from their parents is kind of like someone abducting a child because it is now illegal to take Orcas from their home. It is a very sad process to take a orca from the wild it involves bombs netting death and an orcas sanity in the end.
We need to spread awareness to parents and kids who are old enough to understand. This is a serious problem that doesn't get enough attention and is in the dark to most people. I think if parents new the the real agenda that these places have then they wouldn't want their innocent children anywhere near it because it is disgusting what is going on behind the curtain.

Sea world isn't the only place that does these horrible things the circus does as well they use abusive techniques to keep the animals in the control to do the tricks and such, I believe that all programs that profit off of the exploitation of animals are wrong and need to be shut down.
