Self Portrait vs Selfie

pt.1

Selfie vs Self Portrait

1) A selfie is a picture where you are holding a phone or camera (mainly phone) and the camera is facing your face and you are smiling or making a face.

2) A self portrait is a picture (mainly using a camera) where you have the camera set up on a trip-pod where you are doing something interesting.

3) Yes there is a difference and it is that selfies are more fast and fun and self portrait is more expressive and takes longer to do.

4)Im not a big selfie person so I would say self portraits are cooler and better in my opinion.

5) I think selfies are kinda valuable but not as valuable as self portraits because they are more artistic.

Photography websites

I think the website "Petapixel" is very interesting it teaches you all kinds of things. The intention is to inform you on all the new trends and at the same like teach you a bunch of cool things you might not have known how to do. Like they teach you how to use different camera modes and how to cheat in photography competitions. The average viewer can get a lot out of the website such as information, entertainment and more. Yes I will add this website to my book marked on my phone and even though I'm busy a lot I will try to catch up on it frequintly. Yes I would recommend this account to anyone who is into photography or is trying to get into it because it is very helpful. I would rate this website 4 because it was a cool website. The website also has stuff like gossip and Its kinda like a community thing which I think is cool. I wish that websites like this were more popular because these are cool and educational and at the same time your learning to do cool things. I would rather people look at websites like these rather than dumb websites that are just about celebrity gossip.

Something Interesting I found

Something cool I found was that there was an article about google using one of your selfies to find your doppleganger which I thought was really cool because I didn't know stuff like this even existed. The feature is only available in the US at the moment but its a good start. The pictures obviously are not identical but they are close enough. The doppleganger pictures are not actually pictures of people they are artwork of people that look like you. I don't think its 100 percent practical but I think its a fun goofy website that seems popular. Another Thing I found out was that a celebrity was trying to exploit there fame rather than pay for wedding pictures. Some people say its fine and others not so much. You can look at it like that he would just post the pictures and credit the photographer or that he just wanted more fame.
