Top 100 Photos

1) Harold Edgerton
"Milk droplet"

1) This photo is really satisfying to look at, it is perfectly symmetrical and I love the colors! I like how even though its just a Milk droplet it has a modern edge to it. This photo was taken at the perfect time and angle. You can also see the reflection of it in the red coloration.
2) This photo wasn't just a photo it was revolutionary in the world photography, This is because back then it was hard to get pictures like this without being blurry. Edgerton had been exploring thing with this photograph that others hadn't even thought of. Although it looks simple enough it took, a milk dropper and timer and a camera that he had made.
3) It took Edgerton years to perfect the milk drop photograph. A lot of his photos capture what the naked eye can't see and its fascinating the photographs he has taken are mind blowing because something really fast you could never really see or appreciate he takes pictures of and they are very interesting.

2) W. Eugene Smith
"Country Doctor"

1) I really like this photo because its all together a really classy picture and the bag he's carrying reminds me of the bag Marry Poppins carried around. I think its a really beautiful picture.
2) It took Smith 23 days of shooting this doctor to get this picture. Smith hiked and climbed the rocky mountains and watched the "country doctor" give multiple shots to families and infants. He also watched him develop his own X-rays and treat a man with a heart attack.
3) Smith liked to what he called "Give the subject to myself" I believe this means that he liked to try to understand the subject on a different level. This shows in many of his other photos. His photos are one of a kind and so are the experiences that come with the photos.
