Part 3)My favorite cover

I very much like this cover, although there are some things that could make it better. The girl in the photos face is very bright and when I look at it, it hurts my eyes they could have made the photo a little darker. Another thing although small, her stance is a little awkward even though its not the main focus of the photo its still a little awkward. I also don't like all the clutter, I'm looking at it and all I'm seeing is a bunch of small and medium and big words. Maybe Stick with 3 sizes rather than 10. Its also weird how her face is bright and the rest of her body is more consistent. I do like the gold and green but it feels a little repetitive maybe throw in some other colors.

Part 4) Magazine part 2

IMAGE BASED- covers are your typical covers with one or maybe two people looking at the camera maybe smiling maybe not, usually a famous persons to try and hook you in. They can also be fashion based. ILLUSTRATION BASED- these are exactly what they sound like, illustrations just you're average illustrations but they could be a drawing of someone looking at the reader so it seems like an illustrated image based cover. TYPE BASED- These although not as common still are important they can have big text or even small text, cursive or even print but no picture. CONCEPT BASED- These usually have 1 theme and it is very obvious what it is, they can include people and they can be without people these are more for advertisement purposes.

The words and photos must have a vibe together or else it just throws people off. If the color is obnoxious no one is going to want to sit there and read it. If you've got a good picture and the words correspond and the size and text is good that is very crucial and important to the magazine. And if you've got a good hook, you are set!
