Africa

1) After reading and seeing his photos I am moved by his dedication, knowledge, and overall talent. I am a animal lover and am moved to hear how much he cared about the animals and bringing light to a dark situation for people and animals in Africa. Nicks photos show emotion and they are moving and a tragic kind of beautiful. His photos are so beautiful and exotic and amazing.

2) This isn't my favorite picture of his but out of all of them its one that is very moving and emotional because you can feel their emotion the lions are going though. You can feel and see the desperation and love and exhaustion.

3) The rule of photography Nick is using is balance and framing.

4) Nick uses a Pentax 67 with modified lenses, although he doesn't use a telephoto lens it is important because it is what makes his photos so much more unique .

5)He takes these photos because they allow him to show the reality of certain situations that are very serious. Also he likes to be up close with animals and he is very dedicated.

6) His hope is for people to see them and want to help and be more cautious of there enviroment.

7)
"Just send whatever money you feel you can to a few key charities that are doing what they can to help. Charities like "Tusk" and "The Nature Conservancy" work in conjunction with the local communities to help them see that is is in their economic interests to protect the wildlife and habitat around them. Without he local communities involvement, all is lost."
