A) Some of the main points I read about were, that these days you can easily change and adapt a photo however you want it to look, and that people can change something drastically like a fire and it could ( to most people) look completely normal.
B) The philosophy of news papers like The Washington Post and The New York Times were that they could not change the colors of the photos and they have strict guidelines for how you shoot and edit them.
C) Acceptable things you can do to an image are cropping, making sure that the photo isn't of center, occasionally changing the color of the photo, and sometimes blurring.
D)
I think that this is an unethical photo because it is fake. They were in two different places at the same time and for whatever reasoning did not take a picture of them together theyrefor fake. If they wanted a picture of these two people together they should have just taken a picture of them together. The lady with the microphone also looks out of place. The edited picture looks odd and like its been edited.
E)

I think this is less unethical because the only think different about the two photos is the horse handler is missing and/or cropped out. The sky was altered a bit but overall the picture isn't fake which is what matters. The editing on this isn't half bad for an old picture. And I personally think the edited picture looks better. I wouldn't be able to tell it was edited if no one told me.
